OpTic and Kinguin qualify for Europe Minor
OpTic and Kinguin have become the first two teams to book their places at the Europe Minor.
The Europe Minor Closed Qualifier featuring sixteen teams in a Swiss-style group has produced its first two qualified teams with OpTic and Kinguin winning three matches to book their place at the Europe Minor.
OpTic took on EURONICS in their first game which they secured 2-1. Then René "cajunb" Borg & co. beat Japaleno in two maps to go 2-0 in the group. In their last match, the Danes took on LeftOut who they beat 2-0. With this result, OpTic improved their record to 3-0 and qualified for the Europe Minor.

Kinguin, on the other hand, started their qualification campaign with a 2-0 victory over Fragsters. The Polish team beat Nordavind 2-1 and then defeated Sprout with the same scoreline, securing qualification to the Minor with a 3-0 record.
The Closed Qualifier will hand out six more spots at the Europe Minor which will take place in London, UK on July 19-22 with two spots at the FACEIT Major up for grabs.
